You can use templates when a regular employee or multiple employees are allocated to a service user's visits or department's shifts. Templates allow future shifts or visits to automatically allocate that employee when they're available to work.
Navigate to the planning screen
To start creating templates, navigate to the planning screen.
Click Planning.
Click the clock icon

This opens a new window with your planning screen.
Create a weekly template
You can create templates via the service user or the employees; this has to be done one at a time.
From the planning screen, click on the relevant service user or employee.
Allocate all the service users' visits.
Allocate the employees
Right-click on the shift or visit.
Point to Allocate, then point to the employee.
Click Allocate.
π€Tip: You can select multiple shifts or visits by holding down the control Ctrl key on your keyboard and clicking the shifts or visits.
Save the template
Once you've added employees to the shifts or visits for the week, you can save that week as a template.
Under Templates, click the plus template
button.
Click the plus
button.
Enter a description for this template.
On the Type list, select Automatic. This enables the template to allocate employees when a new week is generated.
Enter the order of the templates; for a weekly template, leave this as one.
On the Apply From W/S Date drop-down list, select the next week that the template should apply.
Click save.
Once you save the template, you can close the template window and refresh the planning page to see the changes.
Template alternate weeks
If creating a two week template you'll need to follow the above steps again on the following week and for the order add two and apply from date to be the following week's date.
