Visit and corner colours

In this article, we explain what the visit and corner colours mean.

When you're planning in Access People Planner the shifts or visits have colour coding, both for the main body of the shift or visit, as well as the corner.

These are the same whether you're using this for residential or domiciliary care; as such, this guide refers to both shifts and visits; however, select which is appropriate for you.

Body colours

This is the main colour showing on the shift or visit. These are the default colours used on the system, which can be changed following this handy guide.

Colour

Description

Green

The shift or visit has an employee allocated to it, with no planning rule violations.

Yellow

The shift or visit has an employee allocated to it, with one or more planning rule violations, but theyโ€™re not enforced.

Red

The shift or visit does not have an employee allocated to it.

Grey

The shift or visit has a cancelled status.

Light blue

You're allocating an employee and have selected the shift or visit.

Planning rule violations

When showing a yellow shift or visit, you can find more details of the violation.

  1. Double-click the shift or visit.

  2. Click the warningimage.pngsymbol.


Corner colours

These colours show in the top-right of the shift or visit. These are the default colours which can be changed following this handy guide.

Colour

Description

Green

The shift or visit has the templated, permanent employee allocated.

Yellow
Green or red body

The employee allocated to the shift or visit is different to the templated, permanent employee.

Yellow
Red body

The shift or visit has a templated, permanent employee, but there is no allocated employee.

Grey

The shift or visit doesn't have a templated, permanent employee.
