Restrict visits with training and qualifications

In this article, we explain how to restrict visits ensuring they are only carried out by employees with specific training and hold the required qualifications.

It's possible to restrict visits so they can only be allocated to employees that meet specific training and qualification requirements.

There are multiple ways to do this, outlined in processes with steps below.



Adding restrictions to the service user

You can add the training and qualification restrictions directly against the service user. This stops any employee being allocated to visits with them, unless they've completed the required training and qualifications.

To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Click Service User.

  2. Click Service User.

  3. Click Find.

  4. Find and click on the service user you need to add restrictions to.

  5. Under QuickLinks, click Training & Qualifications.

    πŸ“Œ Note: If you can't see Training & Qualifications under QuickLinks, please raise a case requesting that the service user Training & Qualification function is enabled.

  6. Select the required training and qualifications.

  7. Click Save.



Adding restrictions to the service requirement

You can add training and qualification restrictions to specific visits for a service user. This stops employees being allocated against this specific visit, unless they've completed the required training and qualifications.

To do this, please follow these steps:

  1. Click Service User.

  2. Click Service User.

  3. Click Find.

  4. Find and click on the service user you wish to add restrictions to.

  5. Under QuickLinks, click Service Orders.

  6. Click on the required service order, then click Service Requirement Details.

  7. Click on the visit you need to add restrictions to.

  8. Under QuickLinks, click Training & Qualifications.

  9. Select the required training and qualifications.

  10. Click Save.


Adding restrictions to the service type

Adding training and qualification restrictions to a service type stops employees being allocated to any visit with this service type, unless they've completed the required training and qualifications.

  1. Click Settings.

  2. Click Service User, then click Service User that appears below.

  3. Click Service, then click Types.

  4. Click on the service type you need to add restrictions to.

  5. Click Training & Qualifications under the Service Types menu.

  6. Select the required training and qualifications.

  7. Click Save.
