Amend visits that have been booked in and out

In this article, we explain how to amend visits that have been booked in and out of.

After an employee has booked on or off a shift or visit, you can’t amend that shift or visit directly from the planning screen. To resolve this issue, you need to manually remove the booking information, make your amendments, and then add the booking information back.

First, you'll need to navigate to the planning screen. To do this follow these steps.

  1. Click Planning, then click Visit.

  2. Click Planning.


Remove booking information

To make the changes, you'll need to remove the book on and off times. Follow these simple steps to do this.

  1. Locate the relevant visit and double-click it.

  2. Under QuickLinks, click Monitoring.

  3. Under QuickLinks, click Book On / Off.

  4. From the Method dropdown in both book on and off select the blank option.

  5. Click the save icon.


Add booking information

Once you have made your changes you'll then need to book the shift back in and out. To do this follow these steps.

  1. Locate the relevant visit and double-click it.

  2. Under QuickLinks, click Monitoring.

  3. Under QuickLinks, click Book On / Off.

  4. From the Method dropdown in both book on and off select the blank option.

  5. Select a reason for your amendments.

  6. Click the save icon.
