Add a new service funder

In this article, we explain how to create a new service funder.

A service funder is a person or organisation that pays for some or all of a service user's care. If a service user has multiple services or bill payers, you can add more than one service funder to their record.

For example, a customer might receive funding from both a government program and a private insurer.

To create a new service funder, please follow these steps:

  1. Click Service User, then from the submenu, click Service User.

  2. Click Find.

  3. Click into service users record.

  4. Under QuickLinks, click Service Funders.

  5. Click the plus button and choose New from options presented.

  6. Fill in the details.

  7. Click Save.


Create without client association

To create a funder without associating with a client, follow these steps.

  1. Click Service User, then click Bill Payer.

  2. Click New, then fill in the relevant details.

  3. Click Save.
